Square Enix have released a new trailer for their old school RPG Lost Sphear which provides a look at the mysterious story awaiting gamers. Lost Sphear is scheduled to arrive in Europe on the 23rd January 2018 on the Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and Steam.
Tokyo RPG Factory’s latest title follows the story of Kanata, a swordsman who wakes one morning to find his world vanishing around him as an ominous power tears apart the fabric of reality. By working alongside his friends, Kanata must travel the world from countryside to towns rebuilding his world using the power of Memory in an effort to prevent it all being lost forever.
Just like Tokyo RPG Factory’s debut title, I Am Setsuna, Lost Sphear will deliver a nostalgic JRPG that captures the essence of those from the good old 16bit era.
Lost Sphear will be available digitally on the PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop and Steam on the 23rd January. Those who pre-order from the PlayStation Store will receive a ‘Memoirs of the Moon’ dynamic PlayStation 4 theme and two music tracks. The game will also be available as a physical package exclusively from the Square Enix Online Store for the two consoles with those who pre-order receiving two music tracks at launch.
