Lauren Cohan joins Peter Berg and Mark Walhberg’s Mile 22

November 8, 2017 by Ricky Church

The Walking Dead‘s Lauren Cohan has just been cast in the action thriller Mile 22. She joins Mark Wahlberg in the film which will be directed by Peter Berg. This will mark the fourth collaboration between Wahlberg and Berg after Lone Survivor, Patriot‘s Day and Deepwater Horizon.

Mile 22 will follow an elite American intelligence officer who, aided by a top-secret tactical command unit, tries to smuggle a mysterious police officer with sensitive information out of the country.

Cohan joins a cast that includes John Malkovich, Ronda Rousey and The Raid‘s Iko Uwais. The film comes from STXfilms, who are hoping to build a film, television and VR franchise around the project. Berg and Wahlber will be producing the film with Stephen Levison from a script by Graham Roland and Lea Carpenter.
