JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE DIRECTOR’S CUT
It was revealed earlier this year that Zack Snyder was stepping down as director on Justice League, with Joss Whedon filling in for him. However one of the bigger complaints from film goers about the rather disappointing DC team-up movie was that Whedon’s jokes and Danny Elfman’s music were misplaced in Snyder’s work. In a new interview with Gamespot, Ray Fisher has spoken about a deleted scene – seen in the trailers – of a pre-Cyborg Victor Stone. “There were some things that you’ll probably end up seeing later on, that didn’t make it into this version of the film,” he said. “There’s a scene with Victor Stone, when he still was Victor Stone, and his mother, that was really special to shoot.” Read more here.
Earlier this year, Lucasfilm announced they had fired Phil Lord and Chris Miller from the director’s chair of Solo: A Star Wars Story with just a few weeks left of production. While they have been quiet since their firing, the pair broke their silence at the Vulture Film Festival. “The experience of shooting the movie was wonderful,” Lord said. “We had the most incredible cast and crew and collaborators. That was a really big gap to bridge, and it proved to be too big. Sometimes people break up, and it’s really sad, and it’s really disappointing, but it happens and we learned a lot from our collaborators and we’re better filmmakers for it. We’re really proud of the work we did on the movie and we wish everybody the best.” Read more here.

But when I saw his adaptation I was impressed, but it was not what I had dreamed of, so I’m trying to make the adaptation of my dreams.” Read more here.
