Over the past year and a half we’ve heard on several occasions that writer-producer Alex Garland and star Karl Urban have ambitions about returning to the world of Judge Dredd, despite the box office failure of 2012’s fan-pleasing reboot.
Although producer Adi Shankar previously has stated that there’s a big question mark over a Dredd sequel, but it seems Karl Urban is refusing to give up hope on another movie, with the actor revealing at the Chicago Comic-Con that an adaptation of the Origins comic book arc could be a possibility.
“Yes, there is a definite possibility [of another movie],” states Urban (via Comic Book). “But it is more likely that we will do the Origins story with Dredd trekking through the Cursed Earth to find the first Chief Judge Fargo.”
