Attack on Titan 2 gets three new trailers

March 3, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Koei Tecmo have released three new trailers for their upcoming action game Attack on Titan 2 which is set for release on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC on the 30th March.  Based on the hugely successful anime series this game puts players in the role of their own custom Scout and continues humanities epic battle against the giant bloodthirsty Titans.  These trailers can be seen below and provide a look at both combat and town life within the game…

In Attack on Titan 2 players design their own Custom Scout, strap into their Omni-Directional Mobility Gear (ODMG) and swing into battle against the Titans.  Fighting alongside the anime’s heroes, Eren and Mikasa, players will risk life and limb to save their home and their squad mates from the insatiable hunger of the Titans.  Players will also get to fight alongside Eren in his Titan form.

Attack on Titan 2’s multiplayer feature will provide a gripping 4v4 mode called Annihilation Mode and will see Scouts compete for the highest score through defeating Titans and capturing bases.  There is also a co-op story mode to allow friends to play together and complete the main storyline.  After launch players can look forward to a new online feature that will include playable Titans.

Players purchasing the game from select retailers will be able to receive a bonus pack of plain clothes costumes for Eren, Mikasa, Armin and Levi.

Attack on Titan 2 will be available for consoles and PC at the end of March.
