Jack Lowden to reunite with Dunkirk co-star Tom Hardy in Al Capone biopic Fonzo

March 22, 2018 by Ricky Church

Jack Lowden is set to reunite with his Dunkirk co-star Tom Hardy in the Al Capone biopic Fonzo, according to Deadline. He will portray FBI Agent Crawford as he attempts to put Hardy’s Capone behind bars.

Fonzo is from writer/director Josh Trank (Fantastic Four). Over the past weekend the film added several actors to its cast, including Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Matt Dillon (Wayward Pines), Linda Cardellini (Bloodline) and Kathrine Narducci (The Sopranos).

Fonzo will focus primarily on Capone at the age of 47, as dementia rots his mind and his past becomes present with harrowing memories of his violent and brutal origins in the city of Chicago.

Principal photography on Fonzo will commence in April in New Orleans, with Lawrence Bender, Aaron L. Gilbert, Russell Ackerman and John Schoenfelder producing.
