Artsploitation Films has announced that it has acquired the U.S. rights to Annex Entertainment’s post-apocalyptic sci-fi Molly, which stars Julia Batelaan in the title role as a girl with supernatural abilities battling the scavengers of Thunderland.
“I loved this Molly, it is an English-language actioner that is fun, fast and furious and with Julia Batelaan in a star-making role as the avenging super-hero. We are proud to release this International pop genre film.” said Artsploitation President, Ray Murray.

In a future world canvassed with despair and violence, there’s a post-apocalyptic girl named Molly, and she is humanity’s final hope. The stories are true, she is a great female warrior who has overcome all adversities and survived despite insurmountable odds. She is what legends are made of. Molly will be released in U.S. theaters this summer.
