Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for the comedy sequel Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, which sees Kevin James returning to the role of the titular security guard under new director Andy Fickman (Race to Witch Mountain). Check it out below after the official synopsis…
In this sequel, in which Kevin James reprises the role of Paul Blart, the security guard is headed to Las Vegas to attend a Security Guard Expo with his teenage daughter Maya (Raini Rodriguez) before she departs for college. While at the convention, he inadvertently discovers a heist – and it’s up to Blart to apprehend the criminals.
Also featuring in the cast of Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 are Eduardo Verastegui (Bella), Nicholas Turturro (I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry), Gary Valentine (The King of Queens), Daniella Alonso (Revolution), Neal McDonough (Captain America: The First Avenger) and David Henrie (How I Met Your Mother).
Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is set for release in the States on April 17th, 2015.
