According Variety, Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games) are in talks with Sony to board Morten Tyldum’s (The Imitation Game) upcoming space drama Passengers.
The film has been penned by Jon Spaihts (Prometheus, Doctor Strange) and “is set on a spacecraft in the future, with thousands of passengers making an interstellar voyage to a distant new planet. One passenger awakens from cryogenic sleep 90 years before anyone else and decides to wake up a female passenger, sparking the beginning of a love story.”
Passengers had previously had Keanu Reeves (John Wick) and Rachel McAdams (A Most Wanted Man) attached, back when Brian Kirk (Game of Thrones) was set to direct.
