Back during the Sony hack, it was revealed that Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War directors Anthony and Joe Russo had been pinpointed by Marvel as the men to tackle Avengers: Infinity War, and now BadAssDigest is reporting that the duo have officially closed their deals to helm to two-part cosmic epic.
The site reports that talks are also underway to reunite the directors with screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the scriptwriting team behind all three Captain America movies, as well as the spin-off series Agent Carter.
UPDATE: The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed the news, and revealed that both Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 and Avengers: Infinity War – Part 2 will shoot back-to-back next year.
