Julie Delpy and Linda Cardellini are in Avengers: Age of Ultron – Captain Marvel rumours true?

April 1, 2015 by admin

Just when you thought the cast of Avengers: Age of Ultron couldn’t get any bigger, two more names have been revealed.

The tip sheet for the world premiere of the movie has been sent out to the US press and has revealed that Julie Delpy (Before Midnight) and Linda Cardellini (Freaks and Geeks) are a part of the Avengers: Age of Ultron cast. They are at the end of the list so it’s likely they’re not large roles, but they’re important enough to mentioned.

Now, this could just be some speculation (this is the Internet after all), but this does tie into a report that we had earlier this month which suggested Marvel Studios had already cast its Captain Marvel and she would appear in Avengers: Age of Ultron. There was no word on who would play the character (or if it had even really been cast), but these new additions could add some more fuel to those fires.

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Jackson (Nick Fury), Paul Bettany (JARVIS / The Vision), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter), Idris Elba (Heimdall), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), James Spader (Ultron), Stellen Skarsgard (Erik Selvig), Thomas Kretschmann (Baron Strucker), Josh Brolin (Thanos), Claudia Kim (Dr. Cho) and Andy Serkis (Uylsses Klaw).
