A pro-wrestler babysitter battles a sinister cult in Here for Blood trailer

January 11, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

Following last year’s festival run, Screambox has shared trailer, poster and images for director Daniel Turres’ wrestling-fuelled horror-comedy Here for Blood.

The film stars Shawn Roberts as Tom O’Bannon, a pro-wrestler struggling to make ends meet who agrees to take on his girlfriend’s babysitting job so she can study, but his plans of a quiet night playing video games with 10-year-old Grace soon spiral into chaos when a sinister cult descends on the home, forcing Tom to fight for their lives. Check out the trailer below…

When his girlfriend, Phoebe, is swamped with college exams; Tom O’Bannon, a rowdy pro-wrestler struggling to make ends meet, agrees to fill in as a last-minute replacement for her well paying babysitting job. Tom arrives at an isolated family home where he meets the precocious 10-year-old Grace. What starts off as a quiet night of pizza and video games quickly spirals into bloody, violent chaos as Tom and Grace find themselves fighting for their lives when an otherworldly cult of masked intruders descend on the home.

Here for Blood is set for release in US theaters, digital and Screambox on February 9th.
