Prepare for silence once again, as Paramount confirms a third entry into the A Quiet Place franchise is heading our way.
The popular horror franchise is fresh off its second entry, which was met with rave reviews from critics and fans [read our ★★★★ review here]. A Quiet Place Part II grossed $297.4 million worldwide, while the first entry earned more than $350 million worldwide.
The third film in the mainline franchise will come out in 2025, while a spinoff movie is heading to cinemas next year. Michael Sarnoski will helm the spin-off, while rumors are swirling that John Krasinski will direct the third installment as he did the two previous entries. Sarnoski is coming off the critical-darling Pig, which starred Nicolas Cage (and came in at #2 in Flickering Myth’s Top Ten Movies of 2021).
