A zombie kangaroo is unleashed in trailer for horror-comedy The Red

Radioactive Pictures has released a poster and trailer for The Red, an Australian horror-comedy from director Ryan Coonan which sees a young police officer trying to save her remote Outback town from being terrorised by a giant zombie kangaroo known as Rippy; check them out here…

THE RED follows the story of young police officer Maddy (Tess Haubrich), who is determined to live up to her deceased father’s legacy. Her courage is put to the test when locals are found brutally ripped to shreds by the zombie kangaroo. As the undead beast leaves a trail of carnage, Maddy, with the help of her eccentric uncle Schmitty (Michael Biehn) and resilient aunt Donna (Angie Milliken), must embark on a high-stakes battle to save the town.

The cast includes Michael Biehn, Angie Milliken, Aaron Pedersen, and Tess Haubrich.

The Red arrives in cinemas on October 31st.
