Deadline is reporting that Abbey Lee (The Neon Demon), Nikki Amuka-Bird (Avenue 5) and Ken Leung (The Hangover) have joined the cast of writer-director M. Night Shyamalan’s next film.
The new additions join the previously announced Eliza Scanlen (Little Women), Thomasin McKenzie (Jojo Rabbit), Aaron Pierre (Krypton), Alex Wolff (Hereditary) and Vicky Krieps (The Girl in the Spider’s Web) in the project, the details of which are being kept tightly under lock and key.
As with his past three movies The Visit, Split and Glass, Shyamalan is producing and independently financing the new film for Universal Pictures – the first of a new two-picture deal between filmmaker and studio.

Universal is yet to set a release date for the new film given the current public health crisis, although all things permitting, the plan is to begin shooting before the end of the year.
