Netflix has announced that production is now underway on Adam Sandler’s latest feature for the streaming service, Murder Mystery, which reunites Sandler with his Just Go with It co-star Jennifer Aniston as well as Luke Evans (Beauty and the Beast).
The official synopsis for the film reads:
When a NYC cop (Adam Sandler) finally takes his wife (Jennifer Aniston) on a long promised European trip, a chance meeting on the flight with a mysterious man (Luke Evans) gets them invited to an intimate family gathering on the Super Yacht of elderly billionaire Malcolm Quince. When Quince is murdered, they become the prime suspects in a modern day whodunit.
Murder Mystery is being directed by Kyle Newacheck (Game Over, Man!) from a script by James Vanderbilt (Zodiac) and also stars Gemma Arterton (The Girl With All The Gifts), Luis Gerardo Mendez (Time Share), Shioli Kutsuna (Deadpool 2), David Walliams (Little Britain), Adeel Akhtar (The Big Sick), John Kani (Black Panther), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (The Meg), Dany Boon (R.A.I.D. Special Unit), and Terence Stamp (The Limey).
Murder Mystery is set for release in 2019.
