During the New York Comic Con it was announced that The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco is voicing Harley Quinn in the fan favourite villain’s upcoming DC Universe animated show, along with Lake Bell as Poison Ivy, Diedrich Bader as Batman, Rahul Kohli as Scarecrow.
A number of other voice actors were confirmed to appear, albeit with their roles kept under wraps, and now Diedrich Bader has confirmed to Discussing Film that Alan Tudyk (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) is set to portray The Joker, with Christopher Meloni (Happy) as a “somewhat different” take on Commissioner Jim Gordon.
Tudyk has plenty of previous DC experience, having portrayed Van Wayne on the comedy series Powerless, as well as lending his voice to The Flash in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Green Arrow, Psimon and Captain Cold in Young Justice, and Superman in Justice League: War. Meloni meanwhile played Colonel Hardy in Man of Steel, and also voiced Hal Jordan in Green Lantern: First Flight.
