Deadline is reporting that Paramount Pictures has identified a shortlist of actresses to join Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in the upcoming big screen reboot of Baywatch.
According to the site, the contenders include Alexandra Daddario (San Andreas), Ashley Benson (Pretty Little Liars), Nina Dobrev (Vampire Diaries), Alexandra Shipp (X-Men: Apocalypse), Shelley Hennig (Teen Wolf), Bianca Santos (The Duff) and Denyse Tontz (Big Time Rush).
Baywatch is being directed by Seth Gordon and sees Johnson as a by-the-book lifeguard forced to team with a young, rule-flouting hothead as they try to save the beach from environmental destruction at the hands of an oil tycoon.
