Alice Eve joins Keanu Reeves in sci-fi thriller Replicas

July 14, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Way back in October of 2014 it was announced that Keanu Reeves had signed on to headline Replicas, and now we have some more casting news for the sci-fi thriller, with Deadline reporting that he’ll be joined in the project by Alice Eve (Star Trek Into Darkness).

Replicas stars Reeves as “a daring neuroscientist who, after a car accident kills his family, will stop at nothing to bring them back, even if it means pitting himself against a government-controlled laboratory, a police task force and the physical laws of science.” Eve will play his wife, Mona, who is cloned following the car crash, allowing her memories and mind to live on.

Replicas is being directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff (Traitor, Homeland) from a script by Chad St. John (xXx: The Return of Xander Cage). It was originally slated to arrive later this year, but as yet there’s no official word on a release date.
