No, this isn’t a Rocky Horror Picture Show reference. At least not yet, anyway. No, the double creature feature we are talking bout today is from the mind of Ryan Murphy.
The filmmaker took to social media today to finally announce the title of his upcoming tenth season of American Horror Story. Fans were delighted (and confused) when Murphy broke the news that the title is “Double Feature.”

One of the most significant pieces from this announcement is the season will seemingly be split into two stories. The video teaser promised a season with two tales, “one by the sea… and one by the sand.” Will these beachy horror stories connect, or could we see the first season of American Horror Story with two separate sagas within one season?
The brand is also planning an episodic anthology series titled American Horror Stories. That upcoming FX series will showcase a different story within this universe every episode instead of the usual season-long arcs.
Joining this tenth season of the long-running horror series is the usual gang of Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Finn Wittrock, Lily Rabe, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, and Angelica Ross. But this year is getting a new addition as Macaulay Culkin is joining the scares this season.
Initially set to premiere last year, the delayed tenth season of AHS will air on FX this fall.
