For the past six months, the internet has been flooded with rumour and speculation claiming that Tom Holland’s web-slinger is set to be joined by past Peter Parkers Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, and despite repeated denials from Holland, the supporting evidence seemingly continues to mount.
The latest indication that Holland won’t be the only Spider-Man in the upcoming threequel comes by way of a now-deleted social media post from William Spencer, Andrew Garfield’s stunt double in The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Spencer posted an Instagram video of himself on a blue-screen set alongside Greg Townley, who just so happens to be Tom Holland’s stunt double on Spider-Man: Far From Home and – you guessed it – the currently-in-production Spider-Man: No Way Home.

It’s worth noting that even if Spencer is working with Townley on Spider-Man: No Way Home, that doesn’t necessarily confirm the inclusion of Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker as he could be performing stunt work for any number of other characters within the movie. Still, the fact he quickly deleted the post only adds to the suspicion…
Spider-Man: No Way Home is slated for release on December 17th 2021 and sees Jon Watts (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home) directing Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Zendaya (MJ), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson), Jamie Foxx (Electro) and Alfred Molina (Doctor Octopus).
