Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal star in All of Us Strangers trailer

September 22, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

Searchlight Pictures has released a trailer for All of Us Strangers, the romantic fantasy drama loosely based on Taichi Yamada’s 1987 novel Strangers.

Directed by Andrew Haigh, the film stars Andrew Scott as Adam, a man who begins a relationship with his mysterious neighbour Harry (Paul Mescal) from his near empty tower block, but Adam soon finds himself drawn back to his suburban childhood home, where he finds his parents are living just as they were they day they died three decades earlier. Watch the trailer below…

One night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, Adam (Andrew Scott) has a chance encounter with a mysterious neighbor Harry (Paul Mescal), which punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As a relationship develops between them, Adam is preoccupied with memories of the past and finds himself drawn back to the suburban town where he grew up, and the childhood home where his parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell), appear to be living, just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before.

All of Us Strangers arrives in cinemas on December 22nd in the US and on January 26th in the UK.
