Animal companions come to Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War

August 3, 2021 by Andrew Newton

The highly anticipated Animal Companion System is now available for Joycity’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War.  This new feature allows players to choose their very own animal companion that will prove an advantage once out on the high seas, not to mention being so cute.  The launch of this new feature also brings with it new events and entertainment.

With the new Animal Companion System players will be able to choose from a Puppy, Parrot Chick, Baby Monkey or Kitten and care for, feed and play with it til it grows into an adult.  Once these lovable companions join you on your journey they will provide a boost in stats for hunting, capacity, voyage and collecting speeds, power and more.

As well as the new animal companion, Joycity has also introduced the Korean inspired Tactician, Baek.  This tactician will allow players to use an Area-of-Effect attack and ultimately bringing a new level of strategy to the game.

Joycity are celebrating our new furry (and feathery) companions with themed in-game events, including Animal Companion quests, a summer event and an improved player log-in.  There’s also a Caribbean Pass that contains a pirate-themed volcano island fortress skin.

Log onto Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War now and choose what animal will accompany you on your journey.
