The announcement that filming has wrapped also came with new artwork by Mark James Hiblin which shows a tiny Wasp on the head of a giant Ant-Man. The caption reads: “Principal photography on ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA is now complete! Can’t wait to show you all what we’ve been up to…”
While plot details for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania are being kept under wraps, we do know that Jonathan Majors (Lovecraft Country) is set to star as the villain Kang the Conqueror once again after the actor played a Kang variant in Marvel’s Loki series – who was revealed to be the mastermind behind the TVA.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is being directed by Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd (Scott Lang/Ant-Man), Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp), Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet Van Dyne), and Corey Stoll (Darren Cross/Yellowjacket) along with MCU new additions Kathryn Newton (Freaky) as Cassie Lang, Jonathan Majors (Lovecraft Country) as Kang the Conqueror, and Bill Murray.
Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania is set for release on February 17th 2023.
