The Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy is in negotiations to join Ralph Fiennes in The Menu, a “darkly comedic psychological thriller” set up at Searchlight.
As per Deadline, the film is “set in the world of eccentric culinary culture, centering on a young couple who visit an exclusive restaurant on a remote island where an acclaimed chef (Fiennes) has prepared a lavish tasting menu.”
Mark Mylod (Succession) is directing The Menu from a script by Will Tracy and Seth Reiss, while Adam McKay (The Big Short) produces through his Hyperobject Industries banner.
