Rebellion, the new film and TV production arm of the British video game developer and 2000 AD publisher, has revealed a trailer, poster and images for the upcoming apocalyptic teen comedy School’s Out Forever. Written and directed by Oliver Milburn, the film stars Oscar Kennedy as Lee, a 15-year-old who is forced to return to the private school that has just expelled from after a deadly pandemic sweeps the globe; take a look here…
No sooner has 15-year-old Lee Keegan been expelled from his private school than a pandemic spreads like wildfire around the globe. With his father dead and mother trapped abroad, Lee is given one instruction: go back to school. But safety and security at St. Mark’s School for Boys is in short supply. Its high walls can’t stop the local parish council from forming a militia and imposing marshal law, while inside the dorms the end of the world is having a dangerous effect on his best friend and his unrequited crush on the school nurse isn’t helping him concentrate on staying alive.
School’s Out Forever features a cast that also includes Liam Lau Fernandez, Alex MacQueen, Samantha Bond, Jasmine Blackborow, Steve Oram and Anthony Head.
School’s Out Forever is set for a digital release on February 15th, followed by a Blu-ray and DVD release on April 12th.
