Both DC Entertainment President Geoff Johns and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins have randomly decided to follow Arnold Schwarzenegger on Twitter. Whether this is coincidental or not is up to readers, but generally when these things happen the end result pans out. For some perspective, Johns recently followed Matt Reeves, and shortly after the man got the job directing The Batman.
Given that the film has already been shot, the most likely scenario is that Schwarzenegger will be called in to do some voice work or motion capture regarding a probable monstrous physical transformation on the film’s primary villain, which is reportedly Ares.

Arnold does of course have previous DC experience, having played Mr. Freeze in 1997’s Batman & Robin. He will next be seen in the Darren Aronofsky-produced Aftermath [watch the trailer here], and has also been shooting the fantasy adventure Journey to China: The Mystery of Iron Mask with Jackie Chan [see the two action icons together here].
