Aubrey Plaza is looking to get a bit witchy with her latest role.
Variety confirms that Plaza will star in the WandaVision spin-off, Agatha: Coven of Chaos. At the time of writing, there’s no word on who Plaza could place in the series. The details for Coven of Chaos are being kept under wraps, and much like WandaVision, the production will look to keep much of it a surprise.
While the series is a spin-off to WandaVision, which starred Elizabeth Olsen, there’s yet no word on the potential return of the Scarlet Witch, although Jac Schaefer, the original head writer and executive producer for WandaVision, will return to those roles for Coven of Chaos, as well as the recently announced Vision Quest.
Plaza joins the recently budding cast that includes the titular Agatha, played by Kathryn Hahn, as well as newly added Joe Locke (Heartstopper) and the returning Emma Caulfield as Dottie.

Plaza has appeared in everything from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World to the most recent season of The White Lotus. Plaza became famous for her role in Parks and Recreation, where she co-starred with another MCU darling, Chris Pratt. She’s also featured in films including Dirty Grandpa, Ingrid Goes West, and Emily the Criminal as well as the X-Men-themed Marvel TV series Legion.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos is set to air on Disney+ at some point next year.
