Independent developer and publisher Rebellion have announced that their remastering of the classic Battlezone 2 will be launch on Steam and GOG on the 1st March. Battlezone: Combat Commander has been completely updated to take advantage of today’s technological capabilities. In Battlezone: Combat Commander the human race is facing an invasion by an alien force intent on taking over the Solar System. The nations of Earth have placed aside their differences and combined their forces to create the elite International Space Defence Force. Having been recruited as one of these pilots it is up to players to fight through 24 intense missions set over 6 exotic living worlds. Battlefields can be scavenged for crucial bio-metal which is used to create powerful units, towering defenses, and vital facilities.
