They did America (heh heh), and now iconic 90s duo Beavis and Butt-Head are back to do the entire universe (huh huh huh) with Paramount+ releasing a trailer for the brand new animated movie Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe ahead of the film’s premiere on the streaming service later this month.
The new film is written and directed by creator Mike Judge, who also returns to voice the characters, and picks up from 1996’s Beavis and Butt-Head Do America as the pair find themselves slackers out of time after being transported to present day. Check out the trailer here…
In perhaps the dumbest space movie ever made, Beavis and Butt-head are sentenced to Space Camp by a “creative” judge in 1998, leading to a trip on the Space Shuttle, with predictably disastrous results. After going through a black hole, they reemerge in our time, where they look for love, misuse iPhones, and are hunted by the Deep State. Spoiler: They don’t score.
Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe will premiere on Paramount+ on June 23rd, alongside remasters episodes of the entire original run.
