According to TheWrap, Bryan Singer has found yet another young cast member for X-Men: Apocalypse, in the form of EastEnders actor Ben Hardy.
Unfortunately, we have no idea who Hardy will be playing, as the role is “another important [one] that is being kept under wraps.”
Hardy was one of the actors who tested for the role of Cyclops, which ultimately went to Mud‘s Tye Sheridan. The new report claims that while he was rumored to be playing Angel, “insiders” claim that that’s not the case. Whether or not Angel is actually in the film is, like a lot of things surrounding this project, still a mystery.
X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 19th, 2016 and stars X-Men veterans James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Evan Peters (Quicksilver) and Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert) alongside Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) as Apocalypse, Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan (Mud) as Cyclops, Alexandra Shipp (House of Anubis) as Storm and Kodi Smit-McPhee (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) as Nightcrawler.
