We’re all very excited by the premiere of Gotham which hits our screens on September 22nd. But remember folks, it’s all fun and games until someone bangs their head against a concrete pillar.
A few days ago Ben McKenzie – who stars as a young Detective James Gordon in the crime drama – was filming a fight sequence when the incident happened forcing him to be rushed to hospital to get stitches in his head.
The actor posted some images on his Instagram account and laughed off the accident afterwards, “Fight scene gone awry. Don’t ram your head into concrete pillars kids…Holy concrete wall Batman!”

Thankfully it wasn’t a serious injury and he was able to dust himself off afterwards saying “Thanks for stitching me up nice. Back to work Monday.”
