Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson continue Zoolander 2 Paris shenanigans, pose with Cara Delevingne

March 11, 2015 by Scott J. Davis

Yesterday we brought you news of the official announcement from Paris Fashion Week that comedy sequel Zoolander 2 had started production, with stars Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller taking to the catwalk to surprise unsuspecting fashion fans.

Now Digital Spy has uploaded some photos of Wilson and Stiller as Hansel and Derek Zoolander making mischief in front of the Eiffel Tower. Armed with selfie sticks, army-style clothes and two Parisian models, the duo were seen bouncing off mini trampolines in front of the famous landmark. Whether the shots were for the film or merely for promotional reasons remains to be seen….

The site also mentions that director Justin Theroux could possibly be replaced by Stiller due to commitments with his television show, The Leftovers, but no official comment on this has been announced.

In addition, model Cara Delevingne took time out from her modelling duties to pose with Zoolander and Hansel and posted the photo to her Instagram account with the message:

“I’m pretty sure there’s a lot more to life than being really really ridiculously good looking… And I plan on finding out what that is #ZOOLANDER2 #BLUESTEEL#DEREK #HANSEL,”

Delevinge has long been mooted for a role in the film, and it would be no suprise after this photo if she didn’t at least cameo in the film somewhere.

Co-written by Stiller and Theroux, Zoolander 2 reunites Stiller, Wilson and Stiller’s wife Christine Taylor who returns as Matilda, as well as new recruit Penelope Cruz. And, while not official, it is thought Will Ferrell will also return as the evil Mugatu.

Zoolander 2 shoots in and around Rome for 12 weeks, before its release in February 2016.
