A black metal band summons evil in trailer for horror Invoking Yell

Ahead of its digital release later this month, Villain Films has shared a poster and trailer for the Chilean horror Invoking Yell.

Directed by Patricio Valladares, the film follows three young women (María Jesús Marcone, Macarena Carrere, Andrea Ozuljevich) as they set out into the woods to make a demo tape for their black metal band, only for things to take a terrifying turn when their music conjures an unspeakable evil. Set in 1997 south of Chile, INVOKING YELL is a love letter to black metal that follows a trio of metalhead twenty-something girls who venture into the woods to shoot the demo tape for their black metal band, Invoking Yell. However, things take a sinister turn as they document their disturbing and unorthodox process of recording paranormal phenomena to be used in the album’s final track.

Invoking Yell arrives on digital on September 20th.
