The dark sci-fi anthology Black Mirror has announced the its first round of casting for the upcoming sixth season per Variety.
Joining the series are Zazie Beetz (Joker), Paapa Essiedu (Gangs of London), Josh Hartnett (The Fear Index), Aaron Paul (Westworld), Kate Mara (A Teacher), Danny Ramirez (Top Gun: Maverick), Clara Rugaard (The Rising), Auden Thornton (This is Us) and Anjana Vasan (We Are Lady Parts).
The above will feature across three episodes of the sixth season, which is said to contain more episodes than the three we saw in season five. It is not yet known how many episodes there’ll be in total.
Black Mirror is an anthology series from Charlie Brooker that explores various ways technology can be twisted or used in an immoral way by society.
The series has previously starred the likes of Hayley Atwell, Domhall Gleeson, Jon Hamm, Letitia Wright, Benedict Wong, Bryce Dallas Howard, Miley Cyrus, Cristin Milioti, Jesse Plemons, Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and many more throughout its five seasons.
The sixth season of Black Mirror is currently in production with more casting announcements to come. As yet, there’s no word on a premiere date on Netflix.
