Brant Daugherty signs on for Fifty Shades Freed

Deadline is reporting that Brant Daugherty (Pretty Little Liars) has signed on to appear in the third instalment of the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, Fifty Shades Freed, where he’ll portray Sawyer, a bodyguard to Dakota Johnson’s Anastasia Steele.

Fifty Shades Freed is being shot back-to-back with the second movie Fifty Shades Darker, with James Foley (Glengarry Glen Ross) taking over directing duties from Sam Taylor-Johnson. Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson, Luke Grimes, Eloise Mumford and Max Martini will all reprise their roles from the first movie, while new additions include Kim Basinger (L.A. Confidential), Bella Heathcote (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies), Eric Johnson (The Knick) and Arielle Kebbel (Ballers).

Fifty Shades Darker is set for release on February 10th 2017, with Fifty Shades Freed following on February 9th 2018.
