Bruce Willis has departed Woody Allen’s latest film due to scheduling conflicts, Deadline reports.
Willis was one of the cast members for the Irrational Man director’s new film, which features American Ultra co-stars Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart, as well as Blake Lively (The Age of Adeline), Parker Posey (Irrational Man), Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect) and Corey Stoll (Ant-Man). Allen is said to in the process of recasting the role so that the production can continue.
The Die Hard star has had to depart due to a scheduling clash with his upcoming role on Broadway in an adaptation of Stephen King’s Misery. Willis had actually started shooting the film, which has led to some rumours of a dispute leading to his exit.
