Fresh from his Best Actor nomination for Trumbo, it has been announced that Bryan Cranston has joined the cast of James Franco’s The Disaster Artist, which is based on Greg Sestero’s book about the making of the cult film The Room.
Sestero broke the news on Facebook (via AV Club) with a post that has since been deleted, which included the above picture of Cranston alongside James Franco as director Tommy Wiseau, Dave Franco as Sestero, and co-star Alison Brie.
Cranston joins what is shaping up to be a star-studded cast, with the film also set to star Seth Rogen (The Night Before), Zac Efron (Neighbors), Kate Upton (The Other Woman), Ari Graynor (The Sopranos), Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook), Andrew Santino (Sin City Saints), Hannibal Buress (Neighbors) and Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2).
