Clare Kramer, one of the stars of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, says that “nobody wants” a reboot of the show.
These days, reboots and resurrections of long-dead shows are quite the rage and there has even been reports that Buffy the Vampire Slayer might be the next show in line to return to life.
Buffy was a hugely popular series between its 1997 – 2003 run and retains a passionate fanbase to this day. The Joss Whedon series shouldn’t return, however, according to one of the show’s former stars, Clare Kramer, who played the character Glory.
Kramer was asked by news.com.au if Buffy could be revived and the actress was pretty emphatic with her response: “No! Nobody wants it.” Kramer then went on to explain, “I think people are interested in what is happening with it but I don’t think true Buffy fans want it unless it’s with the original cast, which I don’t think will happen.”
A reboot of the series without the original cast could very well be on the cards so Kramer might end up being disappointed and we will just have to wait and see if old fans and new viewers would ever embrace it.
