Bullies beware in the trailer for horror Abigail

November 18, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

Dark Star Pictures has released a poster and trailer for director Melissa Vitello’s upcoming horror Abigail.

The film stars Ava Cantrell as Abigail, a teen who moves to a small town in Alabama for a fresh start, where she befriends Lucas (Tren Reed-Brown), who soon comes to suspect that she may have a more disturbing side when she helps him seek revenge against his bullies. Watch the trailer below…

In 1976, troubled teen, Abigail and her mother move to a small Alabama town in hopes of escaping the girl’s violent past. She befriends the boy next-door, Lucas, who is mercilessly bullied by a group of kids at school. Determined to help him seek revenge, Abigail takes matters into her own hands, but quickly spirals out of control. As Lucas begins to uncover the dark and twisted nature of his new friend, things take a deadly turn. Now, he must choose between standing by her side or stopping her before it’s too late.

Featuring alongside Ava Cantrell in the cast of Abigail are Tren Reed-Brown, Hermione Lynch, Gene Farber, and Karimah Westbrook.

Abigail arrives on digital and DVD on December 5th.
