Variety is reporting that Caleb Landry Jones has joined Ralph Fiennes, Rebecca Hall, Mark Strong and Said Taghmaoui in The Forgiven, the new project from The Guard director John Michael McDonagh.
Based on Lawrence Osborne’s novel of the same name, The Forgiven “deals with the reverberations of a random accident on the lives of an English couple, their friends and local Moroccans who all converge on a luxurious desert villa during a decadent weekend-long party.”
Jones has been on a fine run of form lately, appearing in Get Out, The Florida Project, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Showtime’s Twin Peaks. Earlier this week it was also announced that he has signed on to star alongside Tom Hanks in the Amblin sci-fi Bios.
Filming on The Forgiven is set to get underway this summer in Morocco.
