Call of Duty: WWII characters revealed in new videos

September 20, 2017 by Ricky Church

As Activision prepares to take the Call of Duty series back to its roots with Call of Duty: WWII, they have released a series of videos introducing the characters of the 16th Infantry Regiment in the First Infantry Division.

The campaign will follow Private Ronald ‘Red’ Daniels as he takes part in his first combat experience on D-Day and fights across Europe through the war. He will be voiced by Brett Zimmerman (Days of Our Lives).

Joining Red is his best friend, Private First Class Robert Zussman, played by Jonathan Tucker (Parenthood).

Then there is Technical Sergeant William Pierson, played by Josh Duhamel (the Transformers franchise).

Finally, there is platoon leader 1st Lieutenant Joseph Turner, played by Jeffery Pierce (The Tomorrow People).

Call of Duty: WWII tells the story of Private Ronald “Red” Daniels, a young recruit in the U.S. First Infantry Division who experiences combat for the first time on D-Day, one of the largest amphibious assaults in history. After surviving the beaches of Normandy, Red and his squad will fight their way across Europe, engaging the enemy in iconic battle locations such as the Hürtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge, as they make their way into Germany. The journey begins on November 3.
