Cameron Diaz is back, and she’s has a few new projects in tow.
After a semi-retirement from the film industry, Diaz popped back up on an appearance in RuPaul’s Drag Race and confirmed a leading role in a feature comeback, Back in Action. Now, she’s preparing for another follow-up after her decade-long hiatus, and she’s set to be joined by Keanu Reeves and Jonah Hill.
Deadline reports the trio will star in Outcome, an Apple Studios film produced by Matt Dines, Ali Goodwin, and Hill under their Strong Baby banner. Jonah Hill will also serve as the director of the production, penning the script with Ezra Woods.
Outcome is being described as a dark comedy. The film follows Reef (Reeves), a damaged Hollywood star who must dive into the dark depths of his past to confront his demons and make amends after he is extorted with a mysterious video clip.
If you weren’t aware, Cameron Diaz last appeared in 2014’s remake of Annie, after dominating the 90s and 00s with The Mask, There’s Something About Mary, and Charlie’s Angels. At the time of writing, there’s no release date set for Outcome.
