Captain America: Brave New World is heading our way in 2025, and Marvel is taking all the time to tweak the film.
The latest change comes in the form of some additional photography. Per Deadline, Marvel Studios has hired Matthew Orton (Moon Knight) to pen new scenes and material, for which filming will reportedly take place in the spring-summer of 2024.
Little is known about the plot, but Captain America: Brave New World will see Sam officially settling into his role as Captain America and, according to Mackie, will take place shortly after Falcon and the Winter Soldier with the actor revealing earlier this year that: “Brave New World picks up pretty much right after that with Sam back in the fold of, ‘how do I fit into this superhero world?'”
Captain America: Brave New World will star Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, Harrison Ford as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, a returning Liv Tyler reprising her role as Betty Ross from The Incredible Hulk, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Tim Blake Nelson as The Leader, and Shira Haas as Sabra. Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox) is directing from a script initially written by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier writer Malcolm Spellman & Dalan Musson.
Captain America: Brave New World will be released on February 14, 2025.
