Caroline Cave joins Van Helsing season 2

April 22, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Caroline Cave (Cra$h & Burn, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency) has been cast in a recurring role on the second season of Syfy’s Van Helsing. She will play Jolene, Vanessa Van Helsing’s wary friend who supports the cause against the vampires. She will work as second-in-command of a small group of Resistance fighters assigned to protect a field hospital.

Van Helsing is set in the near future, where vampires have risen and taken control. Vanessa Van Helsing, played by Kelly Overton (True Blood) is humanity’s last hope, as her unique blood composition gives her the ability to turn vampires human. The second season is currently in production under showrunner Neil LaBute and will premiere on Syfy later this year.
