Ahead of Friday’s British Academy Film Awards nominations, BAFTA has announced the contenders for the EE Rising Star Award – the only honour voted on by you, the British public. The nominees for the 2015 award are:
Jack O’Connell – Starred Up, ’71
Miles Teller – Whiplash, Divergent
Margot Robbie – The Wolf of Wall Street
Gugu Mbatha-Raw – Belle
Shailene Woodley – The Fault in Our Stars, Divergent
Past winners of the Rising Star Award include James McAvoy, Eva Green, Shia LaBeouf, Noel Clarke, Kristen Stewart, Tom Hardy and Adam Deacon, along with last year’s winner Will Poulter.
