CBS has placed a thirteen-episode order for a new one-hour drama series from Law & Order creator Dick Wolf, which is going by the working title of F.B.I.
The series is described as “a scripted drama about the inner workings of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.” Craig Turk (The Good Wife) is penning the pilot episode and serving as showrunner, as well as executive producing with Wolf, Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski.
Prolific producer Wolf currently has eight shows airing this season in Law & Order: SVU, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Chicago Med, Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders, Cold Justice, Criminal Confessions and Nightwatch. The new F.B.I. series is slated to launch on CBS in the 2018-2019 season.
