Channel 4 rumoured to be developing V for Vendetta TV series

October 5, 2017 by Samuel Brace

A new rumour is claiming that U.K. broadcast station Channel 4 is developing a TV adaptation of V for Vendetta.

The report comes by the way of Bleeding Cool who claims to have confirmed with industry sources that the Alan Moore and David Lloyd comic book V for Vendetta is indeed in the process of being translated for the small screen.

While this isn’t at all official, Channel 4 would actually seem like an appropriate fit for the venture, considering the network has been the original broadcaster for such shows as Black Mirror and, more recently, Philip K Dick’s Electric Dreams.

This isn’t the first time a screen adaptation of V for Vendetta has been attempted of course, with the Wachowskis having written a feature film version starring Hugo Weaving and Natalie Portman back in 2005.

This TV adaptation is just a rumour of course at this stage, so the above should be taken with a grain of salt.
