If you saw Deadpool and Wolverine with a packed house, you know the appearances of Channing Tatum and Henry Cavill tore the roof off the cinemas. Dare I say these two actors’ cameos in this film could be some of the best superhero cameos of all time?
Let’s dish out what happened for those who missed the film or have been waiting for spoilers to pop up online. Tatum finally got the chance to play Gambit after a decade of wanting the role, while Cavill appeared in a now-iconic scene where Deadpool stumbles on a Wolverine variant.
While Channing Tatum’s Gambit had some time to shine, fans only got a brief tease of what the Cavillerine would be like. That was enough to get fans foaming out of their mouths, and the actor was able to discuss the role in a social media post.
