Variety is reporting that Charlize Theron (Mad Max: Fury Road) and Seth Rogen (Sausage Party) have been cast in Flarsky, the new comedy from 50/50 and The Night Before director Jonathan Levine.
The film has been penned by Dan Sterling (The Interview) and will see Rogen as “an unemployed journalist, battered by his own misfortune and self-destructive ways, who endeavors to pursue Theron’s character — who was his childhood crush and babysitter and now happens to be one of the most powerful and unattainable women on earth.”
Theron will next be seen as the villain in The Fate and the Furious, and also has action thriller Atomic Blonde incoming this year. Rogen meanwhile will feature in two James Franco-directed films: The Disaster Artist and Zeroville, both of which are currently without release dates.
